Regular season practices are open to all rowers with previous experience or who have completed one of SRRA’s Learn To Row sessions.
SRRA would like to invite you to join us for our best season yet. Practices begin Tuesday, May 15th and are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00PM to 7:30PM (please arrive by 5:45PM to stretch and warm-up, or come ready-to-row by 6PM) and Saturday mornings from 7:30AM to 9:30AM. Come out and experience a renewed SRRA whether your interests are recreational or competetive.
If you plan on rowing with the SRRA this season, you will need to submit the following items:
1. Rower Information: SRRA needs to submit a roster to USRowing with the names and addresses of all active rowers. SRRA asks that you provide contact information and USRowing ID (if you are a member) by May 1, 2012. To help us maintain our roster we ask that you register for our mailinglist at www.spokanerowing.org/maillist.
2. Liability Release: Before SRRA can let anyone on the water, we need to have a signed copy of the 2012 USRowing liability release form. We will bring copies of this form to the first few practices, but we would appreciate it if you would download 2012 USRowing Waiver.pdf and complete the 2012 USRowing liability release form and bring it to your first practice or mail it to SRRA at:
SRRAP.O. Box 8075
Spokane, WA 99203
3. Member Dues: Member dues for 2012 will be unchanged from 2011.
Member dues are used to meet coaching, insurance, advertising, boathouse, launch and other minor expenses. You can bring a check or cash to the first practice of the month or you can mail a check to SRRA at the above address. If member dues are not paid by the first of the month, SRRA will ask you to cox, videotape practice from the launch or workout on the erg. However, you will not be able to row until your dues have been paid. |
