Dam Safety Line Broken - River Rowing Postponed! - Posted May 28, 2008

The safety line at Upriver Dam is currently broken. It is unsafe to take crews on the water until it is fixed. Estimates for its repair are looking at mid-July. Summer rowing is therefore postponed until rowing on the river above the dam is safe again. Stay tuned!

Master's Rowing Season - Posted March 29, 2008

The Summer Master's rowing season will begin in late May! Anyone who has rowed in the past and is interested in rowing this summer, please email Lisa (llgallow@msn.com). The club needs at least 13 consistent members attending daily practices to row this year. Dates and times of practices will be available early May and dependent upon interest. Ready? Row!

SRRA Needs Coxswains! - Posted March 29, 2008

The club is looking for energetic and dedicated individuals who would be willing to come out and cox our shells. If you know anyone with experience or would like instruction in coxing, ask them to contact the club or come down to practice this summer. Coxswains only pay the $45 membership fee to join SRRA. We can't steer the boat without the coxswain!
